Pilates for BONE & BALANCE | health & strength

Did you know that many of us start to lose bone mass in our 30s? 

As we get older, we also start to lose some of our balance skills. That’s why it's important to practice exercises that help us maintain and maximize our bone density and balance in all stages of our life.  This fun and functional class will focus on our bone and balance health & strength

Balance is directly related to the strength of our bones because we use our muscles to maintain our balance.

In this class, we’ll focus on alignment, body mechanics and strengthening techniques that are vital to the health and optimization of your bones and balance.

We’ll use weight bearing, resistance, and impact work to strengthen and maximize your bone health.

This class is designed to be Osteoporosis and low bone mass safe. It's also great for those with back concerns since it avoids the spinal flexion motions.

As always listen to your body. If you have movement or exercise guidelines from a medical professional, please follow it and adjust the exercise as needed to serve you best. 

If you would like, you have the option to use pillow or a folded towel for support.
